Great location near city center, away from tourist areas. Quirky decor in cozy living spaces. Only two rooms, so possible to have place to yourself. Good value for money, feels like own place. Independent feel, owners available if needed.

We had a fantastic stay at a unique and quirky B&B in Canterbury. The decor was filled with fun and interesting designs that you won't find anywhere else. The owners were friendly and helpful, giving us privacy while still being available when needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center and the cathedral. The room and common areas were clean and well-maintained. Despite a few minor drawbacks mentioned by other guests, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Arthouse & Cottage. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location! It was only a short walk to the city center, which was really convenient. the newly refurbished rooms were beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. the fully fitted kitchen was a bonus, as we were able to prepare our own meals. the owners were extremely helpful and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Parking was a bit of a hassle. There was no on-site parking and the nearby public parking was very restricted.

A unique bed and breakfast experience with a cozy atmosphere. the house is conveniently located just a short walk from the bustling city center, where you can find plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants. the spacious bedrooms were a highlight, with large beds and ample storage space. I especially loved the fact that one of the rooms had its own en suite. the small outside area with table and chairs provided a peaceful spot to relax.
the toilet being two sets of stairs down without an en suite was a bit inconvenient. the proximity to a busy road meant that opening the windows for ventilation was necessary, but the double glazing did little to reduce the noise.

loved the character and beautiful decor of this centrally located place in Canterbury. The shared living room and kitchen were a great bonus, and the nearby coffeeshop served delicious breakfast. Adelle and Sebastian provided clear instructions and the rooms were tastefully decorated with all the necessary comforts. It exceeded my expectations in every way.
Bathroom situation was inconvenient.

We had a delightful stay at a beautifully decorated and comfortable boutique hotel. The artwork and eclectic features created a unique and inviting atmosphere. The spacious bedroom and comfortable bed provided a perfect night's sleep. The breakfast spread with croissants, fresh bread, and a variety of teas was delicious. The location was excellent, just a short walk into town and close to attractions like the Cathedral and riverboat tours. we highly recommend this gem of a hotel for a memorable stay.

Our stay at the Arthouse was incredible value for money, with a comfortable and cozy room that felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
The breakfast option could be improved with more variety.

The location is perfect, just a short walk from the town center and convenient for exploring the area. The off-road parking was a real bonus, as it's hard to find in this area. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a good selection of options to choose from.
Our stay was marred by noisy guests in the shared areas. They were inconsiderate, shouting up and down the stairs and making it impossible for us to enjoy the facilities.

Our stay at a charming B&B, just a short walk from the town centre, was truly unforgettable. The old firestation converted into a unique B&B filled with modern art created a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The spacious interior, with only two rooms, made us feel like we had ample room to relax. Each bedroom having its own bathroom added to the convenience. We loved having access to the living area, kitchen, and dining room exclusively for guests. The comfortable bed and the well-equipped kitchen were definite highlights. The provided breakfast vouchers for a nearby restaurant made our mornings even more delightful. I highly recommend this excellent and quirky B&B.

I had such a wonderful time staying at this charming B&B. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the town center, which made exploring the area very convenient. the owners were warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. the room I stayed in was comfortable and clean, with a beautifully decorated interior. the breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. the quirky artworks and retro furniture added a unique touch to the overall experience.
The limited check-in and check-out times, but it didn't detract from the overall positive experience.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center and surrounded by lovely cafes and restaurants. It was convenient to explore the city and enjoy local dining options. The lounge and kitchen facilities were great, allowing us to relax and make our own tea and coffee. Plus, the staff were friendly and provided us with a delicious breakfast recommendation.
One minor inconvenience was the long distance between bedroom 2 and the bathroom. However, the bathroom itself was nice and well-maintained.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this stunning and cosy hotel. Sebastian, the host, was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We had booked the fireman's cottage, but he kindly offered us a free upgrade to the Arthouse. the extra room and two bathrooms in the Arthouse were perfect for our family of four adults. the accommodation was impeccably clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It was also a nice touch to have a TV in both bedrooms. the property itself was clean, neat, and tastefully decorated. It's situated in a perfect location, close to the center and plenty of restaurants. Despite being conveniently located, it was incredibly peaceful and quiet. Cons: Nothing – our stay was excellent! 👍.
